Make a server not a domain controller

I have downloaded the trial version of OpManager and wanted to know if it was possible to monitor a domain controller, but monitor it just as a server? I have everything setup correctly. I have tried to change it from a DC to a server, but it keeps reverting back. I do not need to use any of the tools in the AD plugin. IS there a setting to stop this from happening?
