[SDF-60764] Major Incident - User log call from announcement

Hello,

In a previous system I've used you had the ability to raise a "Major Incident" call that appeared in the announcement section of the Self Service portal.  The end users then had the ability to read the announcement and click a button to confirm they were experiencing the issue too.

A simple call based on the information on the Major Incident call was then logged against the end users account.  So you can capture the impact of the issue, the end user knows we know about them, and it greatly reduced the number of phone calls coming through to the IT Helpdesk line during a very busy time.

Any chance this could be put forward as a feature request please?
