From yesterday I started getting email notifications from our ServiceDesk Plus environment with the subject "SDP Notification: ERROR: Mails not fetched".
On further investigation I found the below message on the Mail Server Settings:
Mailbox is not accessible : "Incorrect username or password.". In the meantime, mails will not be fetched in the mail fetching schedule.
No changes were made to the account in use and I am able to access the account using the same credentials over OWA.
We are using Basic Authentication. I know MS are planning to disable support for this later in the year and this has not be disabled in our environment yet. Outgoing emails are working fine with the same credentials. I have also tried setting up OAuth authentication and this didn't work either.
