Occasionally the SDP mail fetcher crashes. When this happens, we simply restart it, even without removing the blocking message.

Unfortunately the crashes often occur during night-time, when no technician is available to restart the mail fetcher.

Is there a way to have SDP attempt an automatic restart of the mail fetcher?
