We are currently evaluating Endpoint Central on a trial basis for 13 macOS systems in our environment. We have two requirements we'd like clarity on before proceeding further.

Requirement 1 - Patch visibility to end users:

Our Mac users are notified that a deployment is happening but cannot see which specific patches/updates are being applied. We need end users to be able to view the patch/update names during the notification or deployment process. Please confirm:

- Does enabling "Show deployment progress on the client systems" surface individual patch names on macOS endpoints, or only a generic progress indicator?

- If not, is there any supported way to display the specific patch list to Mac users before/during installation?

Requirement 2 - Escalating notification/postpone schedule:

Our users are getting frequent repeat notifications even after postponing, which is causing complaints. We want to configure an escalating reminder schedule along these lines:

- Initial prompt: postpone option for 2 days

- If missed: postpone option reduces to 1 day

- Final push: 2 hours, after which the patch is force-installed

We understand from public documentation that postpone interval customization may be limited to Windows/Linux, with macOS using a fixed set of postpone intervals (15 min / 1 hr / 2 hr / 4 hr) by default. Could you please confirm:

- Does this limitation apply to Endpoint Central's macOS agent?

- Is there any admin-side control over the postpone intervals or notification frequency shown to macOS users?

- If native customization isn't available for macOS, what would ManageEngine recommend as a supported approach to achieve a longer initial deferral window with fewer repeat prompts?

Since we are still in the trial phase, getting clarity on these two points will help us confirm whether Endpoint Central meets our patch management requirements for our Mac fleet.
