Looking for easier way to ignore Event Log alarms
Hi, I have over 50 Windows servers and I want to have my Event Log monitoring enabled for each one. Unfortunately this generates hundreds of irrelevant alarms every day, like users logging off or printers not being mapped. I know I can add each Event ID individually in the "Event Log Rules" section, but that's very time consuming because it takes too many steps. (I have to log into the server, go into Event Log viewer, find that alarm, note the ID and other details, then to OpManager, create a new rule in the correct area, fill out the info and save, then go to Quick Configuration and assign that Event Rule to the servers.
)
Can you please add a feature that allows me to select any or all Active or current Event Log alarms from the Alarms tab, and have options like "Ignore All" or "Ignore this Event ID in the future", and just have OpManager automatically create the rule and assign it to the server? Also it would be nice to have it global, so I can choose to ignore an certain Event ID for all servers at the same time.
