Logging into OpManager from PC via IE6

I am new to OpManager and I have the SW loaded on a Windows 2003 Server. The web client works fine on the server but I cannot connect from my PC using Internet Explorer 6. I get "page not found".
I turned off IIS as a startup service since OpMgr wanted to use port 80 and it has its own Apache web engine.
This scenario also holds true with ServiceDesk Plus we have loaded on the same server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
