Log File Monitoring
Hello,
We are evaluating your product and does it have the ability to monitor a plain text log file for a string pattern? For example, we have an application that writes its output to a text file (not the NT event log). There is no way to get it to write to the event log, it only writes to its own logs directory. We would want to be notified if for example a message appeared in the log file that said:
07/30 11:13:43.12 HSTMCCCE sqlagt:upinde 3032 ERROR
Is your opmanager capable of this monitoring? I have not been able to find a way so I thought I would ask.
