Locating switchport by IP address
I am evaluating OpUtils and I am very interested in the rouge detection and switch port mapper. I am currently using CiscoWorks LMS but this only works with Cisco products. What is the best way to locate what switchport an IP address is on? It would be nice if this information can be display when I click on it from the other menus like rouge detection. Another nice feature would be the ability to shutdown (or turn on) a switchport from the switch port mapper page. Also for some strange reason IP and MAC addresses are showing up in rouge detection and MAC IP list but not under the Switch Port Mapper. The switch is a Cisco 4507R.
