load average and jobs in a minute - please help
System Load
Specifies the number of jobs handled by the system in 1/ 5/ 15 minutes with its peak and current value, and current status.
can someone please tell me exactly what this means as the defnition is very unclear.
does this relate to jobs processed byt the cpu in a minute ,jobs waiting to process , entire queue length or something else .. I need to qualify these results with my management and I am having trouble
