It would be helpful to be able to link articles in the Solutions module to configuration items in the CMDB module. Our organization would like to use this to better understand the relationships between solutions and CIs, particularly in cases where an application-type CI is deprecated and we need to identify potential solutions to expire.

Ideally we could associate one or more CIs with a solution article. This could probably be accomplished using a multi-select lookup field on the Solution template, ideally with a new section in the CI's Associations tab for Solutions displaying at minimum name, topic, created date, expiry date, and review date.
