Limits on Category, Sub Category, and Items Service Desk Plus Cloud

I am looking into revamping the current organization we have in place to eliminate old unused categories, subs and items. I was told there was a limit on how many of each there could be but have not found an answer as to if that is the case and if so what is the number of each we can have. Does anyone have an idea or ever hit a cap when creating any of these?
