We lease our laptops from Dell and I create a contract in ServiceDesk to be notified when the lease is about to expire. A few updates back ServiceDesk removed the column for Service tags when you add assets to associate to the contract. We use the agent to scan the computers into ServiceDesk and the computer names are automatically assigned randomly in Intune. Not being able to add the computers by searching for the service tag makes it more difficult because I have to look the service tag up in the assets tab and find the corresponding computer name so that I can associate it to the lease. Is there a better way to achieve what I am trying to do? Basically, I just want to easily associate the assets to the lease without having to go to a different place to cross reference them and then go back and look them up and add them.
