LDAP update vs. terminated employees.

While I love the import of LDAP users, I'm having a problem. An employee was terminated and I took her out of the requester section. Now at my company we don't get rid of the profile right away, so when I do an LDAP import (Done once a week to catch new hires) it's still bringing her back into the request section. Is there a way I can permanently disable her? Maybe block disabled accounts from updating with the LDAP? Thank you for your time.
