Lack of Development of Enterprise Edition
I am concerned about the lack of development of the Enterprise (ITIL) edition of SD+. Whilst I understand there are many more people who use Requests than Problems and Changes we pay a premium for the Enterprise edition and yet see little improvement. There appears to be almost nothing to look forward to in the 7.5 roadmap for the ITIL features.
We have 15 technicians using the Enterprise edition and I think SD+ is an excellent product and does a great job managing Requests. However there appears to be some fundamental pieces missing from Problems and Changes. For example why is there no email conversation ability ? There are also bugs that have not been addressed. For example the Change Approvals web page shows attachements but you can't open them.
The other major area that I believe needs improving is Tasks. It is currently much too simplistic. Why can't Tasks be assigned to Groups for example ? This would make the Request Template feature much more useful.
I will send my specific requests separately in more detail but I would like to know firstly whether the Enterprise Edition will continue to develop at the same rate as the other editions. I would have expected since it is the newest edition that in fact it would require more not less development.
I still think SD+ is one of the best products on the market but I am concerned about the value provided by the premium edition.
