[KB] Multi-factor authentication and SSO support for Help Desk Technicians

Working in a complete cloud environment poses its own set of risks. Multi-factor authentication is one of the most trusted authentication technique to prevent intruders from gaining access to unauthorized accounts. 

 To assuage your fear of intruders, O365 Manager Plus now supports multi-factor, federated and third-party IdPs authentication of Help Desk Technicians.  It also supports Single Sign-On (SSO).

 Steps to allow MFA and Federated Accounts 

  1. Login to O365 Manager Plus' admin portal.
  2. Enable Rest API. If already enabled, go to Step (3).
  3. Select Tenant Settings found in the top right corner.

 

    4. Select 'i' icon found in the Rest API Access column, in the Office 365 tenant you want to configure.

  5.  In the pop-up, under Authentication Settings, select MFA enabled and Federated accounts.
