Just checking before we install
Hello All,
We're looking at installing OpManager to monitor our devices network usages. We run webservers and want to monitor (for example) when clients upload mp3's/movies etc and the network utilization skyrockets.
We installed on a test server, but before we install on a production server I just wanted to check:
- We should be able to do network utilization monitoring either at the router / switch or server level via SNMP?
- It won't intefer if we install it on a server that is already acting as a DNS server. The DNS server runs djbdns. It's. a Dell 850, 1 gig memory P4 2.8 ghz.
