Java Runtime under Coretto java + Tomcat
Using AWS Coretto Java 11 and Tomcat 9, a Java Runtime monitor can attach to the running tomcat via JMX, but the statistics it gathers are far less than, for instance, an Oracle java based JVM: the garbage collections tab shows nothing, the configuration tab shows only uptime and heap size, the memory pools don't show correctly on the Overview, etc etc. If I attach a jconsole or VisualVM session to the same JVM via the same JMX port, I can see all these statistics that should be reported, so I am not sure what the disconnect is.
This makes the Java Runtime monitor far less useful than it could be.
