java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/jsse/IBMJSSEProvider

I am trying to add an attribute to the Webservers monitor. The websphere monitor is configured and polling data.
When I click "Add Attribute", I get the following error message "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/jsse/IBMJSSEProvider".
The Websphere application server (version5) is installed on Windows server 2003.
