I am looking at the online demo of the ITIL version, and it looks quite interesting with the addition of the Problems and Changes tabs. However, I would like to make a feature suggestion.

My company currently develops and maintains a incident database program (VB6 front end with Oracle database back end) for keeping track of problem incidents, change requests, and timesheets for our software development division. The timesheets for all the employees consist of entries for time spent on incidents, so timesheet functions have to be integrated into the same program.

At this point I have no idea if the division leaders would even consider migrating to a different change control software. However, if they do, the solution would have to offer a complete timesheet function integrated directly into the problem reporting module. And since we use Oracle databases almost exclusively for our software products, they might want to see Oracle database support as well.

Is a feature like timesheets feasible anywhere in the near future? And once you get all the MSSQL issues resolved, are you going to be supporting any other database platforms?
