MDM devices enrolled does not work through GSM.

 

If I want to reset a passcode to a device that has the MDM agent on but connected through GSM, It fails.

 

For example:

 

A work Iphone can be resetted within the work network LAN and WIFI.

But If someone stole the Iphone and connects the Iphone via GSM to access internet somewhere else, why cant we apply security locks or passcode reset to that particular phone. Tested from my end but does not work.

 

If we can set it up, please call me or email me to let me know how we can configure MDM to works at it best.
