[Issue] Error fetching mail via O365 OAuth - "Authentication Failed" despite valid credentials

Hi Team,

I am encountering a persistent issue with the Mail Server Settings in ServiceDesk Plus. We are using Office 365 with OAuth authentication, and it has stopped fetching tickets suddenly.

Details of the problem:

  • Error Message: "Authentication Failed. Please check the credentials."

  • Behavior: When clicking "Save" or "Test Connection" in the Mail Server Settings, the popup for OAuth shows success, but the application log still records an authentication error.

  • Recent Changes: No changes were made to the Azure App registration or the ServiceDesk Plus configurations recently.

Environment Info:

  • ServiceDesk Plus Build: (Điền số Build của bạn, ví dụ: 14500)

  • Database: (Ví dụ: PostgreSQL / MSSQL)

  • Installation: (Ví dụ: On-premise / Windows Server 2019)

Steps I’ve already tried:

  1. Regenerated the Client Secret in Azure Portal.

  2. Re-authorized the Mailbox within ServiceDesk Plus.

  3. Restarted the ServiceDesk Plus service.

I have attached the logs and a screenshot of the error for your reference. Could you please check if this is a known bug in this build or if there is a specific configuration fix?
