I have several ESX servers configured in OpManager each one running several VM's.  On the ESX server there is no alarms, all the monitors are clear but the status of the server is trouble.  It seems that the status of the ESX server changes depending on the status of the VM's that are running on it, is this correct?

 

If it is, can it be configured somewhere?  I don't want the status of my ESX server to change when there are alarms on the VM's.  Each of the VM's usually have their own snapshot page and are monitored there.  Now when there is a trouble on a particular VM I'm getting a status change on the ESX server even if there is no problem with it.

 

I don't think that this should be related, because it is the VM that has a problem not the ESX server.
