Is this possible?
Is there a way to run OpManager on a 2003 server but have it log to a mysql server on another machine? I tried downing the server and editing the conf file including putting in a opmanager user and defining a password, copying the mysql/data/OpManagerDB directory to the Mysql Server and firing it up. I see OpManager connect to the database but it dies shortly afterwards. Before I slam my head into the desk too many times I figured I would ask.
