Hi,

      I am using OpManager (build 9101) to monitor out network environment and would like to be able to monitor the link status of some interfaces on our switches but not others.  I have used the 'Configure Ports' function to unmanage switch interfaces which I would not like traps to generate alarms for but I am still getting alarms for some of these interfaces:

 

'The LinkDown trap is received from WALNWS002.The trap details are as follows , ifIndex.89: 89 , ifAdminStatus.89: down , ifOperStatus.89: down ,'

 

I have read other posts on this forum an it's suggeted that there is no way to only monitor selected interfaces on a device.  It's either all or nothing.  Is this correct?
