Is there a way to check a desktop compliance?
We currently use Altiris and we have built a baseline for our machines. For example, all machines need to have a shortcut on the desktop to an internal web server. The agent runs a compliance check every hour and it checks that the icon is there.
I see how to install the icon with Desktop Central, but if I delete the icon, it never comes back. It looks like the configuration tasks are a one time only thing and cannot do routine compliance checks.
Am I missing something?
