Is it possible: One Deployment for Office Suite and Office 365?

Hello,

our company will be using Office 2016 in two ways of licensing: 25Users will get Office 2016 Suite and 25 users will get an Office 365 Account incl. right for desktop app use.

So now I am wondering whether I can deploy one Office 2016 Package for all PCs?

I already tried with a Office 2016 Suite, after first start I can add a license key or say "activate by account". The Problem is: When I login with my account the activation menu says, that only Office 365 (E3) is licensed, there is no license in the Account for Office 2016 Professional Plus.

Does anyone have had the same problem, did you find a workaround?
Is there a "neutral" Office Package available for installation?

We would like to use only one package and provide updates only via Desktop Central.
When we use two different packages (one for Office Suite and one for 365), the effective software versions will spread apart..

If there is no way we can deploy one Package for both license ways: Can we somehow configure Updates for Office 365 via Desktop Central?
