Inventory/scan failure

I have just a single machine (out of 10) in which I get a scan failure when doing inventory. I've tried uninstalling the agent and reinstallling, but get the same results. I am using build 50010 and the application log on the client machine shows and app error that dcinventory.exe faulted etc. In looking at the scan logs, the devicescanlogger.log seems fine; all results are listed and the final statement states that it's posted the data to the server. The error.log shows a handful of notices about child processes, followed by these three errors.
