Do you will support non-english os?
Inventory module provides you the Bios Information like Name, Manufacturer, Release date, Year of Installation, Service tag and Status.
Hope above information addressed your doubts.

No way to customize che inventory module to get other information from bios?
Compaq/Hp bios should have the model name.
