Inventory IBM AS400

In first place, sorry if i am at the wrong section.

Our Idea is inventorying an IBM AS400 server and after that use his information about software and hardware to get into CMDB. Finally, create relationships  between business services and AS400 software and Hardware.
Is this possible under SDP? How can i? Can someone pointing me some useful info about this or explain it to me how can i do it?
