Hello folks! We're happy to announce that Analytics Plus now supports map charts. A map chart lets you tag your metrics against geographical locations on a map view. It is particularly helpful when you have data sets that contains geographical information, and you wish to study the spatial relationships between your data on a map.
For instance, if you have sales data from different countries in Europe, you can use the map chart to represent total sales against the country on a map as given below.
To create a map chart using Analytics Plus, your table must contain a column with geographical information such as names of countries, continents, state or province, cities, or districts. Analytics Plus identifies geo data in your dataset during import. If you wish to change an existing column to geo location, invoke the Change data type dialog box by right clicking the column header, and choose 'Geo data' from the Data Type drop down.
