Interface doesn't show up. General issue?

In the past days i tried to discover the interfaces of my devices (server,switch,router) and most of the interfaces of the servers doesnt show up.
I searched the forum and found many suggestions to solve the problem but nothing worked for me and i think there are many users with similar issues.
I'm running OpManager 7 (Build 7010) on an Windows 2003 Standard Server, which is a virtual machine based on esx. The database im running is the bundled MySQL that comes with OpManager.
Can you tell if this is an general issue? Can you say if its solved soon? I think it would be very helpfull to add the different solutions into the knowledgebase so i havent to search the whole forum everytime it happens ;) (yeah i know i should add bookmarks)
