Recently I thought I had a good idea by adding a domain admin to the local admin group on the local machine. I thought that this for sure would allow me to install software as a user that had been specifically added to the local admin group. 

Well I was mistaken. I begin to wonder if this feature had ever worked.

some good news however: My antivirus MSI (that I uploaded myself) DID install.
