OS = Server 2012 Std

I had been running Version 9.1 of Opmanager since its release without issue, it had been incredibly trouble free.

I have uninstalled OPMgr 9.x to begin with a clean installation and fresh DB (following an entire tech refresh).

When I try to install OPmanager V11500 64bit I get an InstallShield error
"An error (-5001 : 0x80070002) has occurred while running setup"
"Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications.  If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor."

The error msg detail:
"Error Code: -5001 : 0x80070002

History:
I had V 9.x and ran the various service packs to get to 11500 using  https://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/service-packs.html

After each install I restarted the service, ran OPManager and tested.  When I applied 11100 it froze at 98% (left it running overnight).  When I attempted to re-apply 11100, it said I was already at the version, event though the list of installed SP's in Update Manager contradicted this.  I applied the manual fix for JRE (rename existing JRE, extract new copy of JRE from PPM, copy to dir.  This didnt allow Sp11100 to instal but did allow SP11500 to install.  Saddly though I was unable to get Opmanager to run.  From that it seemed a good idea to start afresh, hence electing to uninstall V9 and install V11500
