install nfa in linux rh 9 - errors
hi,
I am trying to install nfa 5.5 onto linux RH9, but I am running into errors. First, I do not have an X installation on this machine, so i ran the installer with the -console option. On the output, all I get is:
./ManageEngine_NetFlowAnalyzer_5503.bin -console

So, I ran the installer the command "./ManageEngine_NetFlowAnalyzer_5503.bin -is:extract". This ran fine.
I manually installed the Java into /opt/java and re-ran the installer using "./ManageEngine_NetFlowAnalyzer_5503.bin -is:javahome /opt/java -console"
This let me install the netflow analyzer. After adjusting a few settings (ie: install directory), it finished into /opt/AdventNet/ME/Netflow/NetFlow.
When I change into the /opt/AdventNet/ME/Netflow/NetFlow/bin directory and run the ./run.sh file, I get the following error:
run.sh: Missing required file: /opt/AdventNet/ME/Netflow/NetFlow/lib/run.jar
I searched the system and new install directories for this file, but it does not exist. I also created the /opt/AdventNet/ME/Netflow/NetFlow/jre directory by copying the /opt/java/* to /opt/AdventNet/ME/Netflow/NetFlow/jre
I have noticed I have a bunch of .gz files that may or may not contain the run.jar file that is required.
Anyone have an idea where I should turn next?
Thanks,
Jeff.
