In order to make the database access more efficiently, I need to know if I can set some indexes in the:

• RecentItens table: ITEMID, URL, DISPLAYSTR, DATE, MODULENAME and
  
• WorkOrder table: WORKORDERID, CREATEDTIME.

It will not change the structure, but our DBA says that we can get a better response.

We are using a MS-SQL Server and have about 10.000 requests in 4 months of use.
