Incorrect timing values forService Monitors
-ALL- of the Service Monitors I have setup appears to be giving incorrect results. For machines on the same local network, it is reporting timing values in the order of 4500 ms. These values are invalid.
o I have done a telnet from the box running OpManager to the devices in question - none take 4.5 seconds to connect (try a few ms).
o Service Monitors that are not local (over to the colo down the street) are reporting response times in the neighborhood of 6700 ms.
o URL Monitor is reporting times to the colo over 1065 ms.
o Device Response times for local machines is normally 1ms.
o Device response times for machines in the colo is normally 4ms.
This is for OpManager 6005 running under Windows 2003. If I didn't know better - I would say that all of the numbers being reported are off by 1000 (like a conversion factor is wrong.)
I'm setting this up for a presentation to the President of the company for consideration as the company's monitoring tool - and it looks real bad to show him 4.5 second and 6.7 second times (especially when the times are wrong).
