Incorrect software listed in inventory

Incorrect software listed in inventory

When I look at the software listed in Inventory, there is software that is not installed but yet it is in the inventory list. A good example would be Adobe Acrobat Reader. The inventory states that there are 2 versions on my workstation, Adobe Acrobat Reader 24.0.0.1 and Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 25.001.20884. I thought at first that one version had been installed over the other. I looked in the add and remove programs and all that is listed is the Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 25.001.20884. I then went to Adobe's site and downloaded their cleanup tools (64 and 32 bit) and ran both, rebooted and ran them a second time, and rebooted a second time. I then scanned the system and there were no instances of any Adobe products. I then installed only Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 25.001.20884 and ran another scan and both versions, Adobe Acrobat Reader 24.0.0.1 and Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 25.001.20884 were listed again. There are several other apps that either show as installed or show multiple versions and when checked are either not install or only have one instance.
