An hotfix to version 6.0 has been released. The latest build version is 6003. The hotfix is available @ http://download.adventnet.com/products/service-desk/91677414/AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_6_0_0_SP-25_0.ppm
Important Note : Read through the instructions carefully so that the upgrade is smooth without any hassles. As always, you can contact us @ 'support@servicedeskplus.com' if you land up with an error.
We recommend to try in a test environment first before moving to production server.

a) Users using
Servicedesk Plus build version 6000 and above can download the hotfix from the above mentioned link.
b) Users using ServiceDesk Plus build version below 6000 have to download SP 22 and then upgrade to 6003 using SP 25.

SP 25 is available (its the same link as above) @ http://download.adventnet.com/products/service-desk/91677414/AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_6_0_0_SP-25_0.ppm
Once you apply SP 22, you must start ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus service, stop it and then use SP 25 to migrate to 6003.
How to apply the hotfix :
-
1. Shut down ServiceDesk Plus Server.
2. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
3. Click "Browse" to select the Service Pack file (AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_<Version No>_0_0_SP-x_0.ppm file that you had downloaded) and then click "Install...".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service Pack / Hotfix.
5. Once the upgrade is complete, start ServiceDesk Plus Server.
What's getting fixed :
-
* Patch upgrade is supported for SQL Server.
* Description was lost after taking backup from SQL server and restoring is fixed.
* In Workstation details and Report page Memory was shown as 2 MB instead of 2 GB is fixed. NOTE: Scan all workstations after applying this hotfix.
* Clicking technician details, out of memory was thrown is fixed.
* When Department was unchecked during import from AD, the department was getting added in DepartmentDefinition table is fixed.
* Merge requests from list view was throwing array index out of bounds exception is fixed.
* Conversation addition Notification mail sent to technician contained main requests description instead of conversation one is fixed.
* Departments marked (i.e. Flagged) as deleted were getting displayed during asset allocation is fixed.
* Operation aborted Error was thrown in IE when editing Request template for the second time is fixed.
* New Request form Subcategory and Item were garbled for Non English language is fixed.
* Solution search was not showing more than 10 results and junk characters were displayed when selecting page navigation is fixed.
* Business rule not working in Russian and Polish language is fixed.
* Assets in list view were getting duplicated is fixed.
* Request approval was throwing exception when trying to approve a request with attachment is fixed.
* Timespent Entry was not present for Request Closing rules is fixed.
* Department head cannot view request details of other requester of same department is fixed.
