Wanting to modify some custom groups, I hit the delete button for a unique static group but was then presented with an impact window stating "Packages that are published will be revoked".

Can anyone tell me what this will have as exact impact?

Will it just remove packages from the Self-Service Portal that are published for this group or will it actually uninstall software packages that were deployed with this unique static group as target?

Clarification would be most welcome.
