IIS Reset on target machine.
I am trying to perform an IISreset when a URL monitor goes down on one of our intranet sites. I have tried every method possible and cannot get this to work. It seems that if I create a batch file to do something locally (such as IISreset) it works just fine, but if I create one with IISreset [computername] nothing seems to happen. When I manually run the batch file it reset IIS on the target machine. Why does this not work as a notification profile? Am I using the wrong profile type or syntax?
