If Edited Date is greater than x days and the request is ONHOLD, change the status automatically

Hi,

There’s currently only an option to change from on-hold to open. We currently use an “Update Due” category to highlight the calls that need attention, based on time since last edit.  I’d like to see a business rule, or similar, to be able to change the status of a call (to any other status) based on time and other criteria.  Is this possible.
