We've had a handful of Departments slip in to ServiceDesk over the years. These are created when incorrect data is entered in Active Directory and then a User sync is completed. It'll create a new Department.
We can correct the data in Active Directory and perform a new sync. But we cannot delete the Department as we get the "Department is being used by a module. Hence cannot delete it." message. I've checked all Users, Assets, Request and deleted Request for the Department I'm trying to delete and it shows up no where. If I did find it I changed it to what it needed to be. So any association I could find of the one I want to delete was removed.
How else can I search for where it might show up?
