HTTP 500 on Reminders

HTTP 500 on Reminders

I have discovered an interesting bug with the new reminders feature. Here is the scenario:

One of our non-admin technicians (has View, Add, and Edit permissions for requests, nothing else) creates a reminder. If just the date and time are set without a "remind me before" timer, the reminder is saved properly, and can be modified and even deleted normally.

However, if any "Remind me before" timer is selected, the reminder will still be created properly, but any attempts to modify the reminder afterwards fail with an HTTP 500 error. Also, when this happens, the reminder cannot be deleted in the yellow My Reminders popup, but it can be deleted from the list of reminders after you click Show All on the My Reminders window.

Here's what's really interesting. I temporarily elevated this technician to full SDAdmin privileges, after which he could update the reminders properly. After lowering him back to basic technician, he again could not update them, getting the same error message. I should also mention that we tried this in both Firefox and IE with completely clean browser caches. Also, this was occuring in build 6008 and is still occuring in build 6010.

I am attaching a text file with the complete error output that is displayed when this happens, as well as a section of the system logs that pertain to this error. It appears to be a permissions issue of some sort.
