How to update SSL certificate automatically, e.g. through Key Manager Plus or some Windows ACME client (for let's encrypt)

I'm using SDP 14.1 Build 14105 and trying to make it use a let's encrypt certificate, which will require automatic renewal once installed. I thought that using Key Manager Plus would be a good idea, as both products come from the same company and should work together seamlessly. Unfortunately, the KMP support team has no FAQ on how to update SDP's SSL certificate and just provides the generic information to store/SSH/SCP the certificate in the "proper directory" (without knowing which directory that might be).

Can anyone outline how I can get a let's encrypt certificate into SDP and have it renewed automatically, e.g. through KMP or a Windows ACME client? Alternatively is anyone aware how the SDP SSL certificates can updated without manually going through the "import ssl certificate" function in the admin menu? Then I could try to build an interface to ACME myself.
