How to set the domain scan
Well, I'm starting to get real tired.
I cant get the domain scan to work any longer in V5, worked just fine in V4, this is just the computers whiut xp sp2.
Your documention is not right, in the program it says that COM and DCOM must be started in the client, and WMI services in the "server".
In your online documention it says just
WMI service needs to be enabled in both the server and the client.
Remote DCOM should be enabled in both the server and the client.
and I got an e-mail where you say that UDP port 7 most be open.
Does anyone know what to do.
Like I say, I have open the XP SP2 computers for remote admin thru the GPO, this worked just fine in V4.
And, in the online dok it says the program can only be installed in XP or 2000 os, but in your System Requirements, you say that it could be installed on a 2003 server and so on.
So what to do?, which information should I belive?
If I turn the firewall off in these computers it works fine, but isnt a option.
You should (must) write a walktrhu, that says exactly which services should be started, for example there is 2 COM+ services and 2 RPC services.
Which port and so on, don't give us different answers.
