How to set the correct date and time ...

I have looked through the forums and found multiple fixes for a windows issue with service desk. However I am running OPManager ovf with suse. I have changed the date and time on the guest, and after about a minute it changes back. I do not see anywhere in the OPManager web interface to chage / correct the date and time. It is about 8 hours ahead of my time zone and reports generally show the the next day not the present day. Is there a simple fix for this as I have seen issue with service desk dating back 3-4 years.
