How to manage your Active Directory, on-the-move with the ADManager Plus mobile app?
ADManager Plus' mobile application offers Active Directory admins complete control over their user accounts and AD tickets irrespective of whether they are at work, home or anywhere in between.
Some key management actions you can perform from the app include,
AD user management - Create Users, reset passwords, unlock, enable/disable, and delete user accounts.
AD users' group membership management - Manage group memberships of users and set primary group for AD users.
AD computer management - Reset computer accounts.
AD user reporting - View all users; locked out, enabled, disabled, password expired, and inactive users.
AD computer reporting - Generate all, disabled, and inactive computer reports.
AD Workflow management - View, manage, and execute requests for AD management and reporting tasks.
Read on to know how to manage your AD environment right from your mobile device,
1. Configure ADManager Plus application on your phone
1. Download ADManager Plus application.
2. Configure the server settings by entering the Server Name or the IP address and the Port number of ADManager Plus server. Then click Save.
3. In the login page that pops up, enter the ADManager Plus Username and Password.
2. Perform AD Management actions
To view reports:
1. From the list of reports in the home page, select the desired report.
2. A report with the data from when it was last generated, will be displayed. Click the refresh icon, to generate an updated report.
3. To manage the users from the report, select the users and click on the more actions icon at the top-right corner. Choose the desired management action and click OK to confirm.
To perform management actions:
If you want to delete AD users,
1. In the homepage, click on the hamburger icon, then select Delete option.
2. Select the users you wish to delete.
3. Click Update.
