How to get MS-SQL Server Stats

I have a Win2000 Server with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 installed. Windows is SNMP-enabled, and I have no trouble seeing it on my servers view. It also recognizes the MSSQL port. But, how do I configure my server and/or OpManager to view the information about the database statistics? I've seen it as a feature on the web site, but don't know how to enable it.... thanks!
