ADManager Plus, a web-based Active Directory (AD) management and reporting solution, also acts as an efficient AD group reporting tool. ADManager Plus offers prepackaged reports that help you list Active Directory groups, get detailed group membership information, and more in just a few clicks. Furthermore, you can perform management operations from within these reports.
Detailed Group Members report
View the complete list of all the objects that are members of a specific group, and use filters to narrow down the type of objects that you wish to include in this report. Using ADManager Plus, you can also view the detailed group members of dynamic groups. Customize the report to include the attribute values you wish to view using the Add or Remove Columns button.
How to generate the Detailed Group Members Report in ADManager Plus:
1. Log on to ADManager Plus and click on the AD Reports tab.
2. Go to the Group Reports section in the left navigation pane.
3. Click on the Detailed Group Members report.
4. Select the group(s) whose members you wish to view and specify the required types of objects. For instance, if you wish to view the disabled users that are a part of a specific group, expand the Users option under the Objects to fetch field of the Detailed Members Report. Select Disabled Users.
5. Click Generate.
Nested reports
Groups for users report
List all the groups of a specific user and all the groups that the user's group is a member of. Upon report generation, modify the results of the report to view the common groups of a user.

View and analyze all the users that are members of a specific group.
How to generate nested reports using ADManager Plus:
1. Log on to ADManager Plus and click on the AD Reports tab.
2. Locate the Nested Reports category under the User Reports section.
3. Click on the desired nested report, provide the required inputs (such as group name or usernames), and click Generate.
Users not in groups
List all the users that are not members of a specific group. Use the Add or Remove columns option to select the attributes that you wish to see in the report.
Groups without members
Identify all the empty groups within your domain, and take further action on them from within the report.
How to delete all empty AD groups using ADManager Plus:
1. Log on to ADManager Plus and click on the AD Reports tab.
2. Navigate to the Group Reports section located in the left pane.
3. Click on the Groups Without Members report.
4. Select the Domain of your choice.
5. Click Generate.
6. Select the groups that you wish to delete.
7. Click on the Delete icon and click OK.
